Arizona Security Professionals, LLC trains our guards above and beyond the minimum state requirements building upon many of the individual's experiences previously gained prior to employment with ASP. Like many security companies in the valley, we can use bicycles, however covering more ground quicker is not always best. Foot patrols yield the best results as attention to detail cannot be accomplished when focusing on riding is the priority.

This being said, all of our guards have the capability to be tracked via G.P.S. (global positioning satellite at the clients request), and can be located quickly in an emergency. If a guard stands still for more than 10 minutes an alert will appear on our dispatchers screen to alert our supervisors that there may be a problem. This can also provide the client with detailed information of a guards patrol route on the property throughout the shift, with date and time stamps every three minutes, utilizing Google Earth© integration. Our guard's safety is of the utmost importance, and the well being of your property – which eliminates the client's need to baby sit the guard.

Yes ASP offers GPS

GPS does not always work as some people or companies would like you believe it will work. If the sky is cloudy, rainy or the line of site to the satellites is blocked the GPS will use the nearest cellular tower to assign a location to the officer. This is good and bad. The employer and or the client can tell the guard was in the area however it may also show the guard was at the convenience store or other location the cellular tower is located.

My point is simple. GPS is not always 100% accurate. Xora and most of the other radio/cellular based GPS programs work in this manner.

We recently heard a story from an apartment owner that stated he caught a dog on his property one night with the security guards radio/GPS tied to his collar. This gave the impression the guard was walking all over the property when in fact the guards dog was very well exercised. Needless to say the owner fired that security guard agency.

Police and Fire information, and the ability for the dispatcher to call, freeing the guard to handle any emergencies without being on the phone. This information which is entered into a database for future reference is kept for trespass records, reducing the number of repeat trespassers.

Our uniforms are within the regulations of the law set forth by the Department of Public Safety. Professional, crisp and clean at all times. All plain clothes assignments will meet the same standards in appearance. We also tailor our appearance to meet the environment to increase our productivity. All ASP officers are skilled and trained in the importance of customer service and lease retention. ASP instructs all guards to treat bad people with respect however still treat them like bad people. That being said ASP guards must treat the GOOD residents with pride and dignity.
